Kennedy was a different type of president, instead of attacking and destroying, he decided to have humane talks with enemies, and settle with an agreement. John F. Kennedy was a man of many accomplishment, he was a compelling speaker, and was kind as well as compassionate. Kennedy was a man that did many tasks in the years of his life, one of which was serving our military in World War II. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States of America; he was the bravest and youngest president, who averted nuclear war with Soviet Union and set America’s goal to send a man to the moon.John FItzgerald Kennedy was Born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He came from an Irish background, his parents were Joseph and Rose Kennedy (History.com). John also known as “Jack”, had eight siblings; Jean, Robert, Patricia, Eunice, Kathleen, Rosemary, Jack, and Joe Jr. Kennedy (JFKLibrary.org). John went to Edward Devotion School for Kindergarten- 3rd Grade, and after moving to New York he Riverdale Country School for 4th- 8th Grade, and he enrolled at Choate boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut for High School (Thoughtco.com). In June of 1940, John F. Kennedy Graduated from Harvard University (JFKLibrary.org). In 1941 John joined the US Navy, and two years later was deployed to the South Pacific, and was discharged in 1945 (Britannica.com). He was given the Navy Marine Corps Medal, and Purple Heart Award (JFKLibrary.org). After serving in the military, JFK decided to try to run for politics.After serving in the US Navy decided he should run for the Massachusetts Congress. In 1946 he won the race, and served in the Massachusetts Congress for six terms. In 1952, he was elected US Senate (JFKLibrary.org). On September 12, 1953 to he married Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis from Southampton, New York (Vogue.com).  In August off 1956, John fail the win the Vice President Nomination. On September 26, 1960 there was a Television Viewing of Kennedy vs Nixon Debate. On January 20, 1960 Kennedy is inaugural day as president, he was sworn into the Presidency and delivers his inaugural address, which was considered a landmark speech (Shmoop.com). As John F. Kennedy’s fame grew, so did his list of advisorsWhen Kennedy was president, he had advisors from Washington, all the way to Vietnam. In 1961, Kennedy decided to finance and increase the size of the South Vietnam Army. He also sent 1000 military advisors to Vietnam as well (Historylearningsite.co.uk). John F. Kennedy’s closest advisor was, Kenneth Patrick O’ Donnell. He was an American political consultant and the special assistant and appointments secretary to the president at the time, John F. Kennedy (smithsonianchannel.com). JFK also had a long time Friend, who was Kirk LeMoyne Billings, and was a friend ever since he was a child, and remained friends with the family after his death. Kennedy also had four children which included; Carolin, John Fitzgerald Junior, Arabella, and Patrick Bouvier Kennedy (abcnews.com) Out of the four children, two are still living. Patrick died two days after birth on the same year his father was assisted, 1963, and JFK Junior died in a plane crash in which he was the pilot on July 16, 1999. In the plane crash, his wife Carolyn Bessette and her sister, Lauren also died (Townandcountrymag.com).  Kennedy’s wife passed away in 1994, due to old age (Firstladies.org). John F. Kennedy had many friends and advisors, as much as he had achievementsJohn F. Kennedy is remembered for his many accomplishments. One of JFK’s most important accomplishment was ending the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Soviet Union had placed Nuclear Missiles in Cuba, within firing range of Washington, this was the closest point to full out Nuclear War during the Cold War. JFK decided to have a humane talk with the Soviet Leader, Nikita Khrushchev, on October 26, 1962, and the missiles were removed from Cuba two days later (Learnodo-Newtonic.com). Another one of his accomplishments was signing the Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, which said that the countries that signed must slow down their nuclear arms race in order to protect the environment from Radioactive contamination (history.com).
