Fossil
fuel played a big role in our modern industrial development. People generally
used renewable energy source to reach the energy demand before
industrialization. The example of this is, they used wood for heat and the wind
for sailing. Fossil fuels are highly dependent for people and the demand of
energy is extremely high in our modern world. There are some differences
between Biofuel and Fossil Fuel. Fossil fuel is a non-renewable energy source,
we cannot produce it naturally and it takes a million of years to produce it
from the earth. Fossil fuel also pollutes our environment in many ways and the
health hazard of this is very high. Biofuel is a renewable energy source that
we can easily provide and it just needs a very short time to produce it.
Biofuel also is an environmental friendly concept to produce ethanol fuels and
this causes less problem to people’s health. (“Difference Between Biofuel and Fossil Fuel”, 2015). Biofuel has become
alternative fuels source than fossil fuel. Biofuel has become the production
for the last decades and have really began to take off with the awareness of
global warming in the world. Biofuel is the chosen fuel source because of it
lower emissions. Fossil fuel has a toxic emission, that pollutant is named
greenhouse gases, has been trap the sun rays inside the atmosphere, and it
cause global warming. Biofuel is also renewable, made from organic materials,
even organic waste. Biofuel is a useful because it is biodegradable, it made of
organic substance, and it’s also safer. Because of the contribute to
environmental pollution, degradation and enhance also greenhouse gas emission
leading to the depletion of ozone layer (Rabah et al. 2012) the burning of
fossil fuels is the current rate is likely to create an environmental crisis
globally through the generation of carbon. The methods to produce
biofuel can be categorize in the following stages. These stages are, filtering;
it will remove all the food particles from waste vegetable oil, removing of
water; to remove water easily, you can boil it at 100 degree Celsius,
titration; the process that execute the amount of lye that would be needed,
preparation of sodium methoxide; this process, methanol is mixed with sodium
hydroxide to produce sodium methoxide, heating and mixing; you need to heat the residue between 120 to
130 degree F, and lastly the settling and separation; mix all the liquid and
let it cool for the cooling process, after that the glycerin can be separated
easily by draining it. (“Biofuel.org.uk”, 2010) Waste that might produce ethanol fuel are sugars, grains, or seeds these are produced by
a plant and it belongs to the first generation of biofuels. (Gaurav Kakkar,
2017) Researchers
working hard to find the right process of converting waste gas to being useful,
such as ethanol, biodiesel, and vegetable oil, are mostly formed, fresh organic
materials, such of corn, sugar or grains. Biofuels are working on non-food
organic materials, particularly waste of biomass waste, corn and wooden ships
etc. They are determined to use garbage, for avoiding landfills and

idea that waste can produce ethanol fuel and to let people know organic waste
can be useful and recycled as an ethanol fuel.
